Hi sir, I am B.A Graduate from Delhi University(Correspondence). I have good knowledge in J2ee but i haven't good academic background. So I am very confused about my IT career. Please give me a good career advice. do u think i will go with this programming line or not.

Generally major IT Companies lay emphasis on academic background. B.A Degree that too with Correspondence does not seem to fit in current requirment scenario. The best bet for you is to try build your career as a freelance J2EE expert.Thanks

Hi, I have passed my B.E. in computer science & Engineering in 2003. Currently I am working as Back office Executive in a MNC. we are actually working for a USA tea manufacturing client, they have ERP. we are working as their back office. My Job role is to handle a team of 8-10 people. Analysis their performance. Ensuring that all the back office work should be get done by time. Understing the Business processes , figure out which processes can be transitioned from client to us, ensuring the proper documentation etc.I want to shift my career in IT industry. Please suggest me is it possible? if yes what should be the right place for me in the It industry?. How I will progress

Listen, You have a solid job, Neither all IT career are gold-mines, Nor all BPO jobs are coal-mines. Better consolidate your position in your current job. You are in the right place.... Just dont get misplaced.

i am 28 years of age. i have done b.sc from c.u. after that i have done advanced diploma in system management(3 years). I have worked with a reputed organization as a faculty in ms technology s for 2.5 years and 6 months in bpo. I have been doing MCA while working. Now i am in my final semester. I have left my job for completion of studies.I want to move into development in .net technologies. I have a vast experience on working on different softwares. .net is a new platform for me but i have learned .net by my own and also done projects + training from two reputed institute. I want to know whether it will be a good career move to move into development . will my experience in education and teaching be counted or will it be wise to be a trainer.pls advice and send the reply in my email addresswith regards

You can move into development side but your experience in education and teaching will not counted for development entry in IT. However you can apply and face the interview if you have a good technical...
