There are two ways to auto generate the values of a column in a table1) Default value: we can set a default value to column definition2) Identity value: we can set an identity value with initial value and increment value to column definition.

Table dropped after creating view Issue
A view is created on a table then i dropped the base table and created the base table once again with the same name then that view will works or not?

The view will be INVALID,so you need to re-compile it after create that base table...

If you want to know which one is invalid/valid; you find out from the data dictonary table user_objects and execute query select * from user_objectswhere object_type = 'INDEX'and status ='INVALID' ---and status ='VALID'

When create primary constraints oracle automatically creates Unique Index .
Using "Create index" by default oracle will create B tree index .
To create other indexes like Bit map,IOT index you need mention the Index name while creating index

Index will only help you in searching the data but unique index will provide uniqueness to the indexed column. But in both the cases NULL values are allowed to insert.

We can sort the Data.
Its also Used to Join Homogeneous Source systems.
We can Join Any number of Sources in Singlae Source Qualifier.
