Truss is a rigid body. So no. of degrees of freedom is zero

Because it transmit only force, not motion.
So it has no moving element

truss is a stable structure, it exerts only force and no movement .Hence it has zero dof.

A truss element is defined by two nodes and each node has 3 degrees of freedom which are the displacements in 3 orthogonal directions.
