you can write 'break-point' at the point you want it to be stopped...or...put an external break point in the generated FM itself.

Break point is mainly used for to debug the object. If you want debug smartforms you can use the standard tcode smartform_trace it wil automatically go the debuggin mode or else if you want setbreak point go to smartforms  select initialzaton tab button and put the brakpoint then execute it . It will automaticaly move to the debugging mode.

If writen coding in smartforms, we can set break point there itself or use Tcode trace_smartforms
