System Monotoring: It's a process in multi tier architecture for collecting and storing the stage data.

Configuration of the System monitor can be done in 2 forms.

1. Configuration data for the application itself, and
2. configuration data for the system being monitored

The application needs information such as?log file path?and number of threads to run with.Once the application is running, it needs to know what to monitor.

System Monotoring results in 2 aspects:

? a. Impact on system functionality
? b. Efficient monitoring
